Default Limping home again...

I just can't figure it out...
When the engine is cold, the car goes to Limp home mode almost every time I go for a drive.
After a restart with a warm engine, everything is fine and normal and limp home does not occur again???

I guess I have to go and wire the LED now...

So the limp home hasn't occured now... hmm...

Just one question about the LED:
Do I connect it with or without a resistor?

P.S. Thank's for the e-mail Danno...

Check out RacerX951's web page. Easiest way to go is with one of the LED setups from Radio Shack - they have a built in resistor that gives you the right current.

So, finally I'm limping again! This time I was ready with the led also, and the code was a 2+2.
Now let's go and get the ohm-meter. I hope it's the wiring or the sensor, not the computer...

2-2 will be excessively small output (routine diagnostic rythem) from knock sensor or faulty KLR.
