Default Sunroof Problems

Haven't been here much as the car's been running quite well (knock on wood). Took it out of storage this past weekend and my sunroof isn't working the way it should. It has never worked perfectly but now the problem effectrs me driving te car. The roof doesn't shut. It will go up but won't go down. The switch appears to be working as the roof mechanism moves "slightly'

Any thoughts?

Thanks -

Mark

had the same problem...check if it will release & engage for roof removal...if yes then it might be related to your alarm module..mine was!!!...other wise check clarks garage web site for testing the selonoids...3!..there are 2 directional ones by the motor in the boot.

Default Release and Engage?

Could you explain release and engage in a little more detail?

Thank-you

with the ignition key in 1st click / accessory position, activating the sunroof switch will retract & engage the lifting arms to allow the roof to be removed.
