I think someone named Darwin defeating a car's airbag system is really tempting the god's sense of irony.

Anyone got the specs on the 930S wheel and how they compare with a stock wheel? I've been considering a Momo Prototipo because I like the look and it has a round cross-section. I had a Momo Race on my 928 and utilmately didn't care for it because of the oval cross section.

Does the 930S wheel have a round cross section? What's the diameter? 350mm is ok but I'm thinking I really want a smaller wheel, maybe 320mm.

Reno,

I never got around to getting a 930 steering wheel...yet. Other things came up on the car so the money went elsewhere. But maybe someone else can chime in and answer your question?

My friend has one in his 951. Very nice feel and goes good with the car's interior.

968 CS wheel is still available from Porsche. Rhob's wife got him one for Christmas, already installed it, less than $400 shipped from Sunset Porsche.

www.944s2.com check out the cosmetic and you'll see it.
thanks again Tom

The wires to cut are #5 and #7. If you pull out the glove box and then lay upside down with your head up in there you will see the orange controler. Just to the side of it is the round electrical connector. Find the wires (they are well labeled) and snip em. I simply taped each wire off after that and while I was in there disconected the passengers side airbag as well.

FINALLY the damn " ! " light is off. It was worth it just for that.
