Default downsizing injectors

I'm taking the car back to stock temporarily and am taking the #55 lb injectors out and putting the stock ones back in.

I am doing the same to the chips vitesse to stock, but since everything will be stock except for the to4e I think I will put the welt chips in, cause they work for the stock afm (unlike the vitesse) and will give me more fuel. Or should I just go back to the stock ones.

do I need to adjust the fuel pressure too? I have no real way of measuring what it's at right now though.

thanks.

The only way to do it safely is by checking your AFR. Even an inexpensive gauge is better than nothing.

I will let the Big Boys handle this one...but
Here is my two cents.
Use the welts. Stock chips cannot handle the extra love your T04 is givin.
As far as FPR I think you would want to hit somewhere in between stock and Adjust...maybe 3 Bar Bosch unit.(until you can get a gauge to figure your FP)
Secret here I think is making sure you don't ever run too lean. Of course you will probably run a little rich.

But really you don't use the turbo too much(unless gettin on it) so you could theoritically go all stock settings. Stock injectors, chips, FPR. But if you boost!!!

I just ran it.
I used the welts.

low vacuum (-5)
hesitating / bogging
little coolant leak
some smoke from turbo
no boost, too much hesitation

LEAN!!!!!!! 16-19 driving around
(zt-2)

14-15 at idle, ran great until cold start valve turned off, then low vauum and it ran poor

WTF?

should I put the 55's back in????????

would the coolant leak at the turbo cause the smoke (dark gray)?

because I'm taking the car back to stock, to delete the ****ty maf.

when you pressurize the vacuum system to find vac leaks, wouldn't the air just go out the exhaust ports?

No, intake valves will be closed.
Plug the turbo and put a blow tip into the manifold port between runners 1 and 2. Put a battery into this hose to cap it.

it doesn't matter. It's a piece of ****.

anyway. after more investigation there are two vacuum lines that run through the firewall right next to the a/c hoses.

one goes to a light blue plastic vacuum line that connects to some sort of vacuum valve or something
the other just connects into the rest of the vacuum hoses.

*it looks like the blue line leads to the cold start valve.
does the blue line connect to the top nipple that leads through the firewall, or the bottom?

I got those two vacuum lines back on, too bad it still has -5 psi of vacuum.

this car has NEVER I repeat NEVER had more than -11 psi of vacuum.
as soon as the cold start valve goes off *bam* down to 8 then dips to 5 then 8 again.
it averages about 7-8

what the hell am I missing????????
