Default Possible fuel system problems

I have a 87 951 stock except for recent chips upgrade and that is when the problem started. At cruising speeds of 70-80 mph at around 2800 to 3100 rpm my car hesitate a little sometimes. With the stock chips this never happen before. At first I thought it was the Vitesse stage II chips until I tried a friends APE chips and the problem continued. It does it a little more with the Vitesse chips than with the APE chips. I thought it may be something with the ignition system such as spark plugs, wires, or distributor but all of that has been replaced in the last 2500 miles. So what do you guys think my problem may be? Now I want to think it may be something in the fuel system due to trying different chips and the stage II chips requiring more fuel and may be my system is just to old. The fuel systems still has the original parts. Help!!!

Yes. I tried a 3bar FPR with the vitesse chip and change the FQS to 1 but that did not work. So I'm now back to the stock FPR.
