You're better off making one, unless you can find an old koklen one. I wish they would sell just those w/o the IC pipes. I am going to try to make my own afm relocation pipe.

The question is why would you want to move the afm?

I'd like to relocate afm to get cone air filter behind the head light instead of the one in the middle.

Thanks,
Jim

Just get a muffler shop to cut you up and weld some pipe...

NZ951,

I looked at the heatshield that you got for your car it looks awsome. Did you make it or where did you get it?

Thanks,
Jim

NZ951,

Oh sure, can you point it out for me? I also PM you for the template.

Thanks,

I believe the k&n cone showed no gains on the dyno over the stock box, which gets cold air just as the cone in the headlight would. Its obviously your decision, but dyno tests are dyno tests.

The only reason I am doing that to mine is because my new turbos inlet size is 2.75 inches. I hacked up my jboot to make it all work and it looks horrible. Hopefully this will turn out better. Any thought on what a guy should use for metal. Aluminum? Stainless steel?
