May not be a good idea... IIRC, the DME's were EPROM's which were written with UV light... taking off the sticker could expose the chip and damage the software. someone else can tell us for sure.

It does not look like it came this way from a supplier but more like a mechinac wrote this and stuck it on. But too late I took it off

slap a piece of masking tape over it and write DME so you dont mix it up with anything.
No way to tell who the MFG is without pulling the image.
Best thing you can do is pick up a set of Vitesse chips

If I changed out the chip to a Vitesse Chip what would be the difference with my current set up?

John can map the chips to work with your setup.
BTW I've got a set of Vitesse chips I got last fall that I'm not using anymore.
Let me know if your interested.

I would call up john and get a set of chips mapped to your specific mods and boost pressure.

But, before you even think about doing that you need a aftermarket boost gauge stat! Never trust the stock one. Leave your LBE turned down low and DO NOT mess with the boost pressure until you get a good working boost gauge. Then find out what your running and what you wish to run. Then make call to john at Vitesse for some custom chips. Thats what I would do.

For all we know you are running 11-12psi and there's nothing to worry about but,....if it was my car I would make sure.
