Default Where is best deal for SS brake lines

Hi, new to forum and new to the 951 crowd. Have a 1989 951. Where can I get the best deal for a set of SAE stainless steel brake lines? Thanks!

These lines at Paragon are quite a bargain in Porsche parts cost, and their high quality too. I'm happy with mine.

I just bought and installed my set (well, 1/2-way installed) from Paragon for $65.

Great service. Talk to Jason or someone there to be sure you have the correct fittings on the caliper-end. If you have a hard line from the caliper to the strut bracket (like my car did), you'll need a different fitting than if the SS line goes all the way to the caliper.

I opted to remove the hard line from the caliper to the strut as I recently upgraded my suspension and no longer have the brake line bracket on the strut.

Funny, it seems like quite a few people have them but never installed them, mine are not installed.

I dont mind working on the car but a get real nervous when it comes to brakes, pads sure but anything else!!

Here is my ? What do you think a brake shop would charge to install them?

I didn't ask a shop, but assume 30-45 mins each for replacement and re-bleeding. It gets really hard to start the fittings when your gloves get covered in brake fluid.

they really arent that hard to install. Figure at least half an hour to do the first one, then about 15-25 minutes esch for the others.
