Default Whats my Horse Power?

I have an 88 951 that had been chiped when I bought the car but not sure which one. I just added the Lyndsey Boost Enhancer and the full 3" exhaust Lyndsey suggested I also add a bigger Fuel Pressure Regulator a Bosch 3 Bar that I will be adding today or tomorrow. What would be a good quess as to what my Horse Power is now?

Depends on the chips you have. I think the Vitesse chips dyno around 245rwhp....everything being stock. I suppose a 3" system would only help that number.

Depends....too many factors. I would say lart951 made a good estimate.

Why did you need the specific extra fuel a 3 bar FPR will give you? Are you chips mapped lean? How did you tell?

Yes, be careful. If you have autothority stage 2 chips, which most likely you do, they were intended to work with a banjo bolt jet, but no other upgrades. You need to get some chips intended to work with 3 bar of fuel pressure, and the LBE not the jetted banjo bolt. You can do a search and find out all about what happens to people who use the LBE and jetted banjo w autothority chips... Not good.

Like mark said, be super careful here. But, if you have to replace the head gasket you get the 'while I was in there' disease for free :-).

Lyndsey Racing told with the 3" exhaust that the engine would be breathing better and that I would need to add more fuel to it since I was movving more air out the exhaust end. I am only going by what they said. I checked my recipts and the chip was done in 96 but does not say which one it was. I could open it up and check to see what chip it is should I do this?

After 4 blown head gaskets, I can tell you one thing for sure. Don't mess with your boost/fuel settings unless you have a) aftermarket boost gage b)wideband c) proper chips for your setup or a signal massager.
The best way to extract power from your car, if you don't want to spend a lot of money, get the right chips. Lindsey is ok. I bought some stuff from them, but when it comes to chips the majority here agrees that Vitesse is the way to go. So save your self the pain of the blown head gasket and give John Vitesse a call.

Lart has it right on the bits you need. It disturbs me that you get tld you need approx .2 of a bar more base pressure fuel and no idea of what your AF's and chips are! I mean seriously, you could be in track for bore wash or a blown HG with the increased boost.

I have some guru chips they were optimized for 15psi that's what Dan said. Anyway they runned like CRAP so I got rid of them and reinstall my old authority chips and readjust my Pro M, the car is running MUCH, MUCH better with them. Anybody needs some guru chips I have the pair Dme & klr $ 75.00 including shipping. But don't forget that I said THEY RUNNED LIKE CRAP so buy them @ your own risk.

"Any time you improve and increase air flow in your engine, whether through intake or exhaust improvements, you likely will also need to increase fuel flow" I got this off the Lindsey Racing site, so according to them I should add the 3.0 Bosch FPR. But some here have said I should be carful so now what?

the yellow circle points to where the banjo bolt is located but I will let the experts describe it.

For John Vitesse here is the link.
