the mech informed me that the engine is still good and that he can tell that i take car of it.
as ya'll can see on my sig. with the few bolt ons i have,
what is the max boost i can dial before i blow something up?
i know it's a broad subject kinda post, but i know, ya'll know what i want......
more boost and get the most out of what i have for now..........
tia everyone

I have been running 28 psi +/- for years with just a stock (not widefire) gasket. Many trak days, many dyno runs ( including the one below). And I mean one (1) gasket, not changed 50 times.
Thee are 2 tricks:
-you have to install the head correctly
-you have to have good AFR and timing
If you are going to use chips lke APE, Welt or some other crap like that, you might as well just weld the head on, because you will blow the gasket at high boost.
