Question Stock chips w/cv delete?

Hey everyone, I looked at some old threads and could not find an answer. I removed the cv and associated rats nest of crumbling lines updating to the new vacuum hoses and lines with Laust's slick vac manifold. I will be running an accuboost and eventually Vitesse chips. Until I get the new chips will it be ok to use the stock dme and klr chips? I would prefer to do it all in one shot but want to wait till the momonitor is available later this year from Vitesse for datalogging.

TIA

John

Be careful, keep boost at stock levels 13ish psi with the accuboost otherwise you will trigger overboost protection (stock KLR) and also run lean up top.

Yup, i do the same thing, stock chips with an MBC and deleted venturi tube/CV. Should be fine, just make sure you are keeping the boost dialed down. Aftermarket boost gauge comes in real handy here.

Thanks guys, I've got a VDO that will be tapped into the klr line. Chips will be updated soon and I can keep the boost down for now. Appreciate your help.

I'm running like this right now, just for testing. I think I'll put in my guru chips today and see how it works at 18 psi.
