Default Anyone have red or blue vacuum lines? [post pictures]

I'm going to redo all the vacuum lines on my car because a) I already have a cracked Y connecter that I can see and b) I probably have or will have more cracked connectors or hoses.

Question: If you've done this, how long does it normally take? and can you post a picture of your engine if you used a color other than black.

I have a red car and I'm trying to determine if red or blue hoses would look too ricey. I think red and black under the hood would look pretty nice, but once I do this I'm done and wont' want to do it again I'm sure.

Thanks!

I have red vacuum lines in a black car. I'll try and snap a photo for you in the morning.

I put the black Lindsey kit in my car. Took me about 20 minutes.
Karl wrote a great write up (with pictures) in MSWord format, do a search.

Theres a bad angle of my red ones. Make sure your hands are DAMN clean when you work with the silicon hose, they are a magnet for grunge and grime.

The blue hose is OEM BMW, you can get it at any BMW dealer at about $2 a foot. It's 3.3mm OD-7mm ID.

I went for a 4mm ID hoses (as most do with this kind of hose. They fit on perfectly no need for ties etc as with some other ones. I paid around NZD10 a meter for the 4mm hose...

They also sell it in various colours now... here are some vendors. Sorry for the delay I have been busy building stuff!
