While we are talking about lightened flywheels, has anyone had any experience with the lightened steel flywheels that Lindsey sells? I am concerned about the ability of a lightened steel one being able to dissapate heat and therefore may be prone to warping. It seems to me to be the best of both worlds, not as light as aluminum therefore having more rotational inertia for low end torque, and a cheaper alternative to aluminum.

Some people have noted that they are $99, but thats for a standard one, the light one is in fact $199 when you click the drop down! So make sure you know that first

I have a light weight (8.5lb) from www.speedforceracing.com I have had no issues at all, he did a great job of the machining.

I dont know of anyone with one of the Lindsey units...
