For the record, that vendor never claimed a "replacement kit" as you mentioned, but a price comparison between their set-up and the costs of 8 new OEM lifters.
PS: I know two people pushing 7,400rpms

Not to worry found them

$65 each so thats what $520 bucks. And thats not even the Sunset price which is always the cheapest OEM part supplier.
The LR alternative is just under double that?

PS: The price you gave of $65 is JUST the lifters, now how about the labour that goes into removing and installing them?

Its a substitute product Hos. Thats the point.
So you pay even more again for these shims, and extra machining? eeek. I wonder how much extra labour there is involved in maintaining and fitting the substitute solid lifters. Good points Hos!

Not a sub.........
Anyway, even if you eyed for one, im sure you would purchase the parts from another source (by getting the details and idea from this vendor) and do the whole job you're self and posted it here.......then claim a "better" product LOL
You DONT pay more for the shims, machining etc.......the price they quoted is for everything!.

So if they are not a substitute or a replacement, you are inferring you can install both a solid and OEM lifter at the same time. lol
I would not develop a solid kit cos its a waste of money so LR are safe.
As for my air box that you are referring to, you got some data to compare against or are you just guessing / stiring like usual? I cant calim mine is better (though others have!) because LR dont have any "data" as usual. Clearly the products are idential and LR was the firs comapny to develop the idea of a cold air intake. Nice stiring Horse

If you have a street car, need replacement, go OEM. Want to go extreme (ie, track) go for solid. This was mentioned hundreds of times already.

Stick back to the thread instead of "vendors" please..........

Why quote the discussion about you not knowing what the solid lifters are by saying when you think they should be used? You do get into a tangle dont you.
I know your car is not stock, you have blue vacuum lines.

Does that mean we shouldn't thrust Pelican Parts as well?
