Default Test to see if my cars pic is still in the data bank and...

a question, why do so many blank out their palte numbers or personel plates? I have a personnel plate that is photographed as PCA events, Parade etc. Why block it out?

Basically because someone can get your info (Address, phone) from the DMV and come steal it.

I don't block mine out because if someone wanted it that bad to go through all that hassle they would have it allready.

Hundreds of people see your plates everyday while driving the car anyways...i guess having it blocked out on the net just makes a person have to see it in real life to obtain the info....i never block mine out either...

Some also say for insurance purposes while on the track... don't want to be identified! Could also cause problems with a claim.
