You can get one from NAPA, just give them a call. The have a rebuilt match, usually in stock. I recall, that after shipping was considered, NAPA was cheaper, and 3 miles away. I've had no problems with mine. E

But...check that it's not just a loose ground wire on the starter. They can get loose around the solenoid stud, mine was stripped, and would fail to start intermittently. Also check the pos. lead as well. Mine was shot, and needed to be replaced.

I had the starter in my 951 go bad a few years back. The prices that I was quoted from the national auto parts chains ranged from $350ish to $500ish (with core). I ended up getting it rebuilt at a local alternator/starter repair shop, for about $120. They're probably the least expensive because all they deal with are the components that are probably interchangable between most of Bosch's starters. And not having to stock the whole starter assembly that is unique to the 951.

I used www.importpartsauthority.com last year. Got a Bosch Remanufactured starter, for ~$130 or so. Came in a Bosch box, had a new solenoid, looked new. Free shipping for orders over $50. Not sure if they could get it to you in time though.
