951 bumper
Just curious, will 951 bumper fit on 944 n/a?
I am looking at a 944 with swapped turbo engine, transmission, intercoller etc, but it's got original exterior.
thanks in advance

does the intercooler even fit under an n/a header panel? anyway, regarding fitting the 951 bumper on there...it's a little more complicated...you need to modify the fenders a bit if not actually get 951 fenders, get a 951 nose panel, bumper support bracket, bumper shocks, headlight covers, and do some custom wiring for the fog lights.

The curvature in the area where the nose panel, headlight panel and the fender meet is different between the NA and the Turbo.
However, there are places that sell a straight bolt-on modified Turbo bumper that fits the 944 NA fender profile.

It's not a recent conversion, 30-40K miles ago, and the engine is 120K total.
By the way, after I drove it, I openned the overflow tank for the coolant and it started spilling out, could be too much coolant or too hot. Is that not good? After all overflow tank is there to take care of the coolant expansion, not to be overflown itself.

They have gotten pretty cheap, yes. But finding one for this price is hard, especially if I don't have time to go on 300 mile trips or fly to other states to look at them. I've been looking 8 months and only saw 2 worth buying.
Finding turbo s is even harder.
