This is an excellent example of how NOT to polish a wheel. Better still it is a perfect of example of making something worth a lot less than before you screwed with it.

It is a shame these look like someone went over them with sandpaper

You know, there are wheel polishing kits that sell for ~$100 or so......gives you amirror like finish and could do up to 6 wheels........sounds like a better investment that what that gentleman did.....

a little muriatic acid will take those scratches right out.

Too bad the price is so high, otherwise they'd be worth it. I really don't think that would be too difficult to fix up.
