It's some variant of a T04 hybrid, so you can have it rebuilt by any reputable rebuilder - Majestic, Bramall, TEC, Lindsey, there are plenty of others. Nothing special about it, everyone can do it.

Personal Opinion: There has been lots and lots of smoke coming out of this guy's ***, he obviously has no experience with having turbos rebuilt in texas or anywhere else..........I wouldn't listen to him......

Whatever...........and if you paid attention to the recent threads on turbo rebuilds in TX, you'd see my point.

I can speak from personal experience. My turbo is at Majestic for its 3rd rebuild in the last 6 months. First they said no restrictor and it leaked oil. Second they said add a restrictor and then it blew out the seals and leaked oil. Now they are back to no restrictor but upgrading the hotside to decrease back pressure. They may get it right one of these days. On the upside, I can now get the turbo out of my car in under two hours. I just hope this time they send all the parts back with it...lol...

If I was paying for these rebuilds I would have thrown this one away and now be sporting a Vitesse turbo.

My dispute isn't with dubious results from Majestic - my dispute is the blanket statement that Texas turbos are bad. That's like saying Southern California can't tune these cars based solely on Danno.

There is more then one rebuilder in the state of Texas. Lindsey uses a differant one other then Majestic.

I wasn't focusing on any vendor, since i know two vendors in TX where rennlsiters complained about. This has been an issue for quite some time, just a heads up mesage not a "Don't go there" type of thing......

Anyways, it doesn't matter, since i have smoke coming out of my ***.

I wish when somene stats they have a problem with Majestic they would say which one, cause there are two.
Waco, http://www.majesticturbo.com/
Dallas, http://www.dallasturbo.com/

I have used the one in Dallas many times and have no issues.
