968 3.8-bar FPR
If I wanted to squeeze a set of stock injectors to the max, can I use a 968 3.8-bar fuel pressure regulator?
Don't worry about getting chips to match or all that; I have it covered. All I'm asking about is the mechanical feasibility: will the 968 FPR bolt in and will the injectors behave properly with a base fuel pressure of 58-psi?

Not sure but i heard if you raise up the fuel pressure too high, the fuel will not be sprayed correctly and you should get some combustion problems...
If so, what is a "correct" fuel pressure for these injectors/fuel pump ?
Let's wait to get some experts opinions

When injectors are produced, they are typically (99% of the time) given a flow rating at 3-bar (43.5-psi).
I know people here have turned up their fuel pressure using an adjustable regulator and those are the people I'm hoping chime in.

Just thought, have you considered just buying an adjustable FPR and dialing in your optimum setting for all set-ups in the future?. If fixed FP turns out too high you are kind of stuck at that setting. This guy is selling a used Huntley for a decent price. https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/185929-86-951-sold-clearing-the-garage.html

Danno talking about a 3.8 FPR:

Unfortunately someone has already asked for Gary's FPR. If I don't get that Huntley unit, I can get a 968 3.8-bar FPR brand new for $40 (hence the topic at hand).
