If it were me I would want to verify what my timing was. If you set it to 0 around your idle points then use a timing light you should see the OT mark on the flywheel through the inspection hole. If not then you should adjust your static timing until you can.

OK I just read some of the other responses. There still seems like there is some confusion about the timing in the various configurations. I went to Uni with the programmer who made the software, I will give him a call today and get the horses mouth truth!

Ask the programmer how to set things that display right numbers in the tabell. Anything else seems wrong! I got 10 degrees difference from Link SW version 1 compare to V2, ask about that to if its same for the engine between the 2 versions.

Dude, if you can set your numbers to zero, I contest you have a static ign in your Link of zero! I can not go to zero in my table as my static ign is set to 10 degrees. If I lower that number, then I can go below, for example if it is set to zero, I can enter zero in my timing table. I will confirm my thoughts later today! But have a quick check. If you set base to 10, your table should reflect reality.

My version is also 2.3! Can it be 2 switchboards in the box? I know there is a small circuit one with 4 switches but maybe there is switches on the mainboard. If so, maybe its there you can change static like Danno mentioned.

Ok here is the deal, I thought your map was conservative (remember me making that comment?) but you are have not added the 10 degrees static to those numbers... anyways...
On the LEM 5 (what I have) in the software (V2.3) the timing table gives the ignition advance including whatever static advance is entered in. So I have 10 degrees static timing. If I enter 20 in any cell, there will be 10 degrees ign advance and 10 static for a total of 20. Whereas you have entered only the ign advance you want the Link to give on top of static. Now, the Link Plus is treated differently from the LEM5, so I will get an update soon about that. I can not enter a value below the base timng (obviously). On the Link Plus its slightly different, like I mentioned but I will get back to you asap!

There was never any "conversion" to 60-2 software that I know of. I saw the work involved in de coding the factory 132 Flywheel tooth count and the 1 sync. I know they can trigger off that sort of wheel, but I thought the factory sensors and triggering was used.
I understand the dip switches allow for the difference in Flywheel sync and Pickup placements. They allow you to move any ECU from engine to engine and keep the same map by adjusting the mechanical base timing value to suit the differences in pickup postions etc.
