I just did this last night. Just go into the driver foot wel and find the gas pedal. Then above it is the line that runs to the cruise control. Disconnect it there, I just pryed it off. Remove the bolts and pull the line out of the firewall. Its all one peice. It took no time at all.

I broke off the switch on the steering collum and one day driving home the cruise control decided to start going on by it self.... talk about scary, so when i got home i just unplugged it in the engine bay. I Didn't look to hard to remove.
