Is there a difference between the late S2/Turbo and 968 hatches? Other than that the 968 hatch is painted in color.

In the US, the 968 has integrated third brake light in the lower part of the wing. Maybe ROW cars are different. Painting body color was an option on 968's.

No 3rd brake light on my ROW 968 hatch.

But other than that I assume a 968 hatch is identical to the late S2/turbo hatch?

It was sold to me as a 968 hatch... it could be off the late S2's as well I guess.

I'm just pulling your leg a bit.. Most people call it a 968 wing even though it was forst seen on the 944.

Looks great NZ, about the color, Black would look real nice. For some weird reason my mirrors are black and it really does look nice (on the white body) My Vote : Keep it black (even though I'm interested in what it would look like in color...) humm i sense a poll coming on haha

WOW! I love the look of the 968 hatch on these cars, I just wish Porsche wouldn't dropped the 944 from the US market when they did...a shame. ECUDooberhead, what color is your car?

I vote for leaving it black. I'd be worried about the color matching. I left mine black mostly because it goes well with the black on my car. Have a little black/blue theme going
