Didn't read all of the posts... but Brian Perry (Perry951) had an excellent write up on powder coating your calipers. It was about a year or so ago. He did a great job and for some time had the write up on his website.

The write up on how to paint calipers doesn't get any better than this one if you have yet to check it out!

I would use a 3M buff wheel for the Porshe scrirpt, at low rpm.

Wait so the turbo S has the black calipers with the porsche script on them? Cause thats what my 86 has hmmmmm......, maybe there is more upgraded on my car than i think.

Silverbullet, There is a Rennlister named Eric Sandoval, he's a 993 guy now, but used to have a beautiful 968 cab., anyway, he has painted his, and I believe has done so for some others. He's usually pretty receptive to questions, and has been a prety nice guy to me, so give him a try. His Rennlist name is just SANDOVAL.

They all have the Porsche script I believe( ?) the diff is that the S has the script in polished metal as opposed to white lettering

I just ordered the silver VHT paint for my blue 951. Ill let you know how it goes. Any ideas on how to get the porsche script black with the silver paint?
