Default Cleaning the KLR

Is it possible to "clean" the KLR? I pulled the cover off the box and found oil in the line from the banjo bolt to the pressure transducer. I'm assuming the pressure transducer may have gotten oil inside it, and I'm not sure whether it effects anything or not. Is it worth trying to clean it out, or will the oil vapors just clear out by leaving it open for a little while?

TIA

Yes, having oil in there is bad. I once had tons of gas get in all the map sensors I have when my fpr exploded. To clean it, spray a small amount of acetone or lacquer thinner in, then immediately blow gun it dry, so as not to let it eat any of the components. Next take a small amount of silicon spray grease and spray it in. Then take a heat gun and heat the sensor while the opening is pointing down to let any excess grease drip out. Blow gun again, and reinstall.

This procedure isnt guaranteed to work, but it is what I did!
