Rear hatch removal... lesson please!

Remove the headliner in the rear (on top of the rear seats, behind the sunroof).
Follow the two hinges for the hatch, the bolts fastening them to the frame are hidden under the vinyl in the roof. You'll have to cut a hole on each side, or pull the vinyl off, to remove the bolts.
They're 13mm IIRC, once you remove them, disconnect the hatch shocks and the 3rd brake light power wire.
You might need some help to pull that hatch off, it is one heavy SOB.

lol Maybe different with the Euro spec? Or mine has been off before and the guy lost the bolts? Or maybe Gunter on the assembly line forgot the 13mm bolts and had these spare in his pocket from the intake he was just working on!???

No, it will be here in a few days... as will the mirrors... and the engine compartment cover (which I think I will ABS it wider to "fit" exactly and cut a shape around my new can here is a pic of the new intake pipe and where the can line runs. WATCH TOMORROW FOR SOME SERIOUS BLING! MORE TO COME

Damn........i want to re-seal mine but don't know what kind of silicon/glass glue (whatever) to use since im off today and tomorrow.........good time to tackle that kind of job!
