I read MySwiss was away for a week or so, is this true?

I NEED to order........brake booster hose is bad, use clear silicon for a temp fix (not really working)....

Some of you may not like this, but looks like i need to order from that 'other' vendor today

Hos, you can order the 3 porsche hoses from anywhere i would imagine. Just look up on Pet at 89 and later for the brake booster hose part number, the other 2 are in my writeup. I just installed my 4mm (5/32) black silicone line from hosetechniques.com, and i think it is a much better fit than the stuff lindsey sells, and they have more colors to choose from. The fit on all the fitings is much tighter, i dont have to use any zip ties i dont think. The brass T's you would need to find, and the short 3/4" hose that runs from the O/A seperator to the j boot. You can get the male male connectors etc that you will need at any parts store. I ordered 20 feet of the 4mm hose at about a buck a foot, and have almost half of it left over. 10 feet i think would be plenty, there is no way you need 25. In fact with that 20 feet, i ran the windshield fluid hoses new as well (from the tank to the squirters on the hood).

Karl: I already tried a similar approch here locally, but the quality was literally $hit. The two vacuum lines for the CV are the ones i replaced (for the IC banjo an dthe j-boot) and they tore up the next day. The supplier said that those hoses could withstand 50+psi of pressure, well my 12psi split them..........

I shall check out hose techniques.......Thanks!!!

Can any of you guys that have recently purchased a venturi delete "kit" confirm that the part numbers are still:

951 110 217 01, ISV to intake hose
951 110 221 00, ISV to IC pipe (between IC & intake)
951 110 223 01, Intake to brake booster

I found these part numbers in a 2004 thread, just wanted to confirm that nothing had changed and nothing has been superceeded.

Thanks!
