hi all,
i've been trying to source the Cup disc locally, but it seems like it's gonna be difficult/expensive. i've heard of ppl using the 930 disc, which is much easier to get here. this is to be used with a lightened stock fw and a KEP stage 2 PP.
main goal is to a) lose the stupid little damper springs that fail prematurely and b) not slip (shouldn't be a problem, even the stock will hold my minuscule dyno-dependent 240-270 rwhp).
thoughts? what are the pros/cons of each?
cheers,
chris.

bugger. the 930 has those 6 little springs! that's what i'm trying to avoid!
EDIT: hum, i wonder if it's possible to get the stock clutch and remove the 6 little springs (and the plate)?

The 6 springs on the 930 disc are not the same as the 6 extra springs that prone to failure on the 951 disc.
I don't think either of these disks are avaialble through Porsche. They are still made by Sachs though and cup disk can be ordered with part #1861-944-433.
