968 rear end?
I stumbled upon this item on Ebay, is it a 968 rear end upgrade for a 951? does anybody knows?

I could tell 100% if I could see the seams on the side. but both photos are dead on from the rear.
Well the REAL part number for the factory 968 rear end is 944.505.023.00 The part number he listed is 951.505.123 which does not exist, as far as I know. (Lends me to believe it is an aftermarket piece designed to fit to the 944 taillight seams.)
Regardless, you will have to take it to a body shop to have it done right, because it is not bolt on.

Thanks Rich that's what I thought it looks like a body shop would be needed for that upgrade.

There are a couple ways of doing the conversion: The aftermarket fibreglass, which doesn't require cutting the original body, but does require lots of creative bonding between the fibreglass and metal, or a real oem 968 rear end which requires modifying the metal fender.
In fact, in the PET, if you look up the 944 fenders, its kinda interesting because it says "reworking required" even for the bone stock factory rear 944 fender.
