I paid $500 for the supermounts from GPR. Anyway, I've had them in there for about a 1000 miles now. My car's motor vibrates some at idle and when I changed the mounts it didn't increase the vibration. I guess what I'm saying is that it vibrated before and it still vibrates some. When I replaced the idle control valve my idle was smoother although it still is a little rough. The mounts themselves seem just fine. Pricey, but they are a pretty anodized blue though....

So your mounts were in poor condition before, and the new ones vibrate the same as old ones perhaps?

A lot of LRs stuff is expensive as hell, yes but I don't find it (in most cases) that out of line with some of the other race shops around - even ones for non P-cars. A friend of mine with a "boring old" Mustang GT took his car to a performance shop near here recently to have chips & tuning done in preparation for emissions and a new rear axle put on. The cost was well over $3,000 for just that - and that's a Ford! So it ain't just Lindsey. . .

SFRs prices don't seem all that cheap either. A few items in Zims are pretty good (though they carry OE / OEM stuff, not performance), ditto on Pelican and 944Online. The bottom line is if you want new performance parts, you have to shop around quite a bit. Your best bet is buying them used.

Actually, the mounts looked fine when they came out.

Interesting, I guess vibration is relevant to experience. Good that you are having a good experience, do you have a link to them?
