in So Cal, i get either no look at all, or the occasional wave from a fellow 944/951 driver.

Have had one surprising experience... at a coffee shop, a guy with a 996 turbo stopped and talked to me about mine... said he's always wanted one. Offered to trade, straight-across... but guess he didnt think it to be a splendid deal.

Talking

Recently I took the P-car down to my local college bar. It's usually a pretty friendly and high class place. I come out to get some air and a couple of redneck punks are talking about how crappy my car is and one of them started to spit on the window. I told him to step away from the vehicle. He asked me if I wanted to fight about it and my response was "do not touch the car again". They all got in a modded up prelude and backed up real close before slamming on the gas to spray gravel on my car. In the process their front body kit catches on the edge of the road and is ripped off. I never saw them again.
