Default Autothority Stage 2 chips wanted for Turbo S

Hi All.

Does anyone have a set of genuine Autothority Stage 2 chips for a Turbo S going spare? They will need to have the banjo bolt with them. I am in the UK and have been scouting Ebay to no avail ( one set for sale at the moment but the seller's f/back is 'private' and not well established....doesn't make me feel confident ). I would much perfer to buy from a Rennlister. If the chips came with the instructions it would be a bonus.

Thanks,

Adam.

Why not go with GURU or Vitesse?

As a matter of fact, I have the complete set (including banjo bolt and instructions) for a Turbo S sitting on a shelf at home. They recommended I not use them since I have an MBC on the car. I'll take $150 plus shipping for them. You can also check my feedback on Ebay if you want (userid: EvanZ06).

Blimey, quick responses! I really want to keep the car pretty much stock. Rhesus, the Guru and Vitesse kits do sound amazing but just too over the top for my requirements; maybe one day when the standard power gets to boring .

Evan70. Just what I am after but was thinking more around the $100 mark plus the shipping. Drop me an email if possible ( adam.dawkins1@ntlworld.com ).

Thanks, Adam.

Hi Adam,

I've just sent you some mail.

Let me know if I can help - I'm in the UK.

Cheers,

Jim.

Who's they? Autothority? To run a boost enhancer with chips, you just use the stock banjo. Can't you do that with an MBC? Why not?

Yes, "they" is Autothority. They specifically recommended removing the MBC and running their banjo bolt only with the chips.

From my experience with MBC (I use Lindsey), it makes no difference - I've tried the Authothority Banjo bolt, and the MBC. If anything, it runs better with the MBC.

I guess essentially, they both do the same job - only a valve after all.

Just my humble opinion!

I believe the danger with running the MBC as opposed to the banjo is that you'll be leaner in the upper RPM range with the MBC.

That's what I had read on this forum and why I am sticking with the bango bolt supplied with the chips.
