Anyone have a source for this fuel rail adapter?

NZ, I agree, they are on ebay quite often, however its 9xauto selling them on ebay. When you actually try to buy one they will tell you its out of stock. I asked why they kept posting auctions for them and they never responded. You can also order them on their website and pay for them, then have your payment refunded when they tell you they are out of stock.
I suppose I'll just go with what I already have, I'm just not as confident in it as I would like to be in anything fuel related.

I see what you mean Andrew, there are two seals to worry about, one between the rail and the adapter and one between the adapter and the gauge. I think thats what you mean.
I guess I don't see how thats any different than drilling and tapping the fuel rail's cap, except that the gauge has less threads to grip when using a tapped rail cap instead of an adapter like the one pictured.

Yes thats exactly what I mean. If you are worried about the gauge leaking, then it will leak irrespective of the "thing" its screwed into. Why did/do you have to drill and tap? My rail stock had a thread in the end of it... did you change your rail?

No, quite clearly I'm not aware. My gauge has a 1/8 NPT thread on it, which is nowhere near the same size as the metric threads on the rail. The rail's end cap needs to be drilled and tapped in order to accept the 1/8 NPT.
I already have the gauge, so I don't really want to spend the money on another gauge. Regardless, got a link for the VDO one you mention? I'd like to see what I could have bought, and then I'll wonder why none of the tuners sells it or recommended it to me when I asked about this.

I hate those bastards, but I got my gauge off Lindsey Racing, the ONLY part I have left in my car of theirs that has not failed or let me down in some way. But its not their part as such, its just a stock VDO part that they charge higher than normal retail for! For gods sake man dont drill and tap when the VDO is a stock fit!
I cant believe I am posting a link to an LR part...

HA! Looks like they dont sell it anymore, and have a drilled and tapped nut with an Autometer gauge... Hmmmmm

PS: Paul, sorry if it sounded like I was being condesending in my posts...
PPS: I will work 24/7 to find you the VDO replacement that does not require tapping if you promise not to buy that LR part.

Exactly, they sell a drilled and tapped end cap. I saw that myself a while back and thought the adapter I pictured was a better solution. Had I known that VDO gauge existed, well...this post would cease to exist.
Now, any chance I can ask you to find a part number on that thing?

LMAO hahaha....no offense was taken Andrew, just a miscommunication, which happens. Most of the arguments around here start out with someone misunderstanding something.
You have my guarantee that I won't buy that Lindsey part, it would be a duplication of what I already have done (and also didn't buy from them).

Now I know I'm missing something, because those gauges are the same 1/8 NPT thread pattern as the gauge I have. To use one of those, I would need either a) the adapter pictured above or b) a drilled and tapped fuel rail end cap.

I think they offer a range of sizes... I dont know what the stock rail size is though... the part number was on the packaging but that was over a year ago! Someone must know the size... I wonder why LR stopped selling them, maybe they (VDO) dont make them anymore?

I bought the end cap drilled and tapped from Lindsey. I then installed an Autometer electric fuel pressure gauge in the gauge pod under the radio. There's no gauge hanging off the end of the rail. Not the cheapest solution but probably the best.
Here's a shot of the wiring to the rail in the engine bay:
