Can someone email/PM me with directions? Eventually I have to do this on my engine (once its back together) so I'd like to see it done in person. Plus I'll bring some munchies.

Can I have the directions as well (please PM me)? Please also let me know what I should bring. Food/drinks/tools/gloves, etc.

Ok, noon this Sunday it is. I will bring my tensioner and pully tools. You guys supply the beer, pizza and some kind of chocolate desert. I will not drive my 951 as I am rebuilding my A-arms and putting in a new radiator.

Bill, Dirk,

I won't be able to make it afterall. It's my girlfriend's birthday this weekend and I attempted to rearrange our plans to Saturday, leaving Sunday available but it won't work. Good luck and hopefully i'll see you two at the next Norcal event.

So I'll take care of the pizza. Should I get it on the way, or should we order it as we start?

Any preferences on ingredients?

Ben,
Bummer, but you got to take care of the girl or life will be h3ll

Deep,
Are you planning to do your belt? If so, we will need to let your engine cool before we can tension the belt. In that case, we could do Dirks belt at noon, go out for the pie while your car cools, then do your belt.

I could definately use a retension, I let the spring tensioner do its work about 300 miles ago, and I know my balance shaft belt is just a tad too tight.

Is it ok if I come along?

Hi Bill,

I originally thought that there would be quite a few cars, and volunteered to just watch and learn. However, it looks like we'll have time and it would be great if we could adjust the belt.

Your plan sounds good. I wish I lived closer to San Carlos - the car will definitely warm up on the way there...

Dmitry, I sent you a PM.

See you guys tomorrow!

It was great to meet you guys. Thanks to Dirk for hosting us, and to Bill for providing not only the tools, but also the expertise!

I learned so much today - I love Rennlist!
