Default TPS signal on KLR?

Hello
where to get the TPS signal for dataloging at the KLR or DME?
I need the 0-5V signal clear and without to much noise.

Pin2 on the DME but I am unsure whether this is 0-5v (but most likely) and whether you can share with the DME unaffected?

hmd,
What you show is the switch only, which terminates on Pin 2 of the DME.

It looks like the variable voltage from the TPS sensor terminates at Pin 7 of the KLR.

Tony,

You may be right about the switch, but this page from the workshop manual doesn't show pin 7 of the KCP, may be 21,22,23.

BTW I am looking at logging the tps as well, either 0-5 or 0-12v.

Tom has some VERY good right ups on the Zeitronix installation, at the bottom of the page he shows which wires go where (including the TPS):

However, im not sure about the 0-5v signals.......

Thanks for the plug Hos. Pin 22 on the klr has the 0-5v TPS signal (white/green). It seems like a clean signal to me. It logs without problems on the zeitronix. Hope that helps.

Yes, 22 on the KLR harness (white/green wire) has the 0-5v TPS signal.

hello
I finaly comected the TPS signal to TEch Edge but I get only 3.5 Volt on WOT.
I thought I should get about 4,7 to 5 Volt when I am on WOT.
Anyone who checked it amd can tell for sure that 3,5 Volt is enough on WOT.
I checked the Throttle body and yes at 3,5Volt the Throttle body is full open at 90 degree.
The car runs like hell but maybe I lose some HP beacause of a wrong signal to DME/ KLR

Konstantin,
I'm logging TPS data to use with my videos, so it was easy to take a quick look at the voltage range from my car, which is running well.

Closed throttle = 0.38Volts
Open throttle = 3.5Volts

The absolute numbers might change very slightly from car to car due to TPS position setting, but its clear from that that the closed to open throttle voltage differential is around 3.1V. It is not a 0-5V signal.

thanks.
so it is exactly the same ssignal I get. 0,38 V and 3,53 Volt max
Then everything seems to be ok with my car.

Thanks again

Konstantin
