Default Fuel Injectors

Is there a good place to get 55# injectors besides Lindsey Racing.
Was hoping to find them at a cheaper price.
Thanks

Wow, thanks those are good prices!
Are the Siemens low impedience 57's the same that Lindsey Racing sells?

Dont buy from LR! Those kinds of places buy from Racetronix and sell to the public at nearly twice the price! Siemens make great injectors, but I think Delphi have a better spray pattern.

I didn't see 55's listed under the Delphi brand.
My car has the stock turbo and Vitesse chips.
65# injectors might be to big ????
I wanted to upgrade to the 55's for a future Vitesse stage 2 kit.
The car is apart for the winter and now is the time to replace to original injectors.

Replacing the injectors takes all of 10 mins after you add the resistors. So dont fel presured to add them right away. Also, cant your select the injector size and the Vitesse map adjust? 65lb will not be too big at all for the Stage 2.

Yep I can select the injector size. I guess 65's might not be to big. If I'm understanding how they work correctly then the duty cycle would just be alot
less??
Lindsey says you don't need resistors for the injectors. I found this odd.
The lower impedience injectors would draw more current and put alot more
stress on the drivers, the way I see it.

Do a search on resistors... I run 4 sequential resistors.

I also run 82lb injectors. The size of the injectors will depend on your HP goals, do a google for an injector size calaculator to determine you requirements. Yes you will run lower DC with bigger injectors which means a better flow pattern when compared to the max of the smaller sized injectors. Given the potential of the new Stage 2, you may even want 72lb. Idle should still be fine...

Can you run 82lbs injectors while makeing 250whp? then getting 300whp, 350whp, and so one?

Im trying to purchase injectors just once, would that be possible?

Tim, You can use the 55# injectors with the K26/8 chips that you have. Not a problem, just select the correct FQS setting. I have the 55# injectors and Ballast in stock if you need them.

Thanks John
I didn't see them listed on your site.
Whats the price?
Will 55's work well with your stage 2 kit?

Tim, any sized injector will work... any at all. Its all about your max HP goals, the duty cycle you want to run, and the idle drivability. The bigger the injector the higher the HP potential, the lowe rthe max DC will be, but the lower the idle stability may be.
