Default I need some upgrades!

I've done the search, but I'd like some more opinions. The stock turbo needs rebuilding, the stock wastegate is shimmed and still not doing a great job at holding boost, I'm maxing out the stock injectors, and the head/block are rebuilt. I want to "update" the parts that need replacing with something a little better than stock.

Currently running Guru chips with a Lindsey Stage III MAF (chips are not optimized for a MAF however).

What does everyone recommend for a turbo, wastegate, injectors, and chip combo?

TIA

Well, for all that I would look at Vitesse racing. They sell a package that has most if not all that. They put down some serious hp/tq.

depends on what your looking for... say tial $300 from SFR, Lindsey rebuild/upgrade of your turbo, and some 55# injectors with custom chips from Vitesse or something would be nice... Or if you have the money just get the Vitesse Stage 2 and be done with it

LR did all the upgrades you are talking about for my car and I am very happy!
- Super 75 turbo
- 55# injectors
- MAF

Just call them and they can talk you through best course of action to take and how to make upgrades with your current set up! Once you get turbo out, it opens the doors and your wallet with great timing to tackle other serious needed parts!

Wastegate is obvious... Tial with some adapter plates or weld in some pipe. Injectors are dependent on your HP goals, there are many online calculators, get those from www.racetronics.com So you are down to chip and turbo, given you have a fuel controller already, the chip is a little bit of a mute point, just get it reprogrammed as close as possible to your new turbo and injectors etc. Guru or Vitesse can do that. So the big one is the turbo... lots of info in history on turbo's... SFR and Vitesse make some bolt on units people seem happy with, I have an SFR stage 3 and it sounds like a plane taking off. Verry happy.

if I go with a slightly cheaper alternative to vitesse, say a K27 setup (either new/used K27 or a K26 rebuild), what size injectors are people using?

55lb injectors would be fine for that I think.
