Naca duct doesn't jump out and slap you in the face like the hood scoop does. Functional hoodscoops are really only good for horizontally mounted intercoolers on top of the engine. It really isn't a good design because it really adds to the frontal area of the car. It's better to use the pre-existing frontal surface of the car for cooling ducting than to just add more frontal surface with a hood scoop.

plus the 968turbo's had two little Naca ducts that looked hella cool.

Hey Andrew, I don't think I need any pics, just wondering what the standard procedure was on that stuff. I just bought a new 951 expansion tank so I'll likely just end up blocking that off on mine. Shame, I wish I had known, I would have saved some cash on the tank.
Thanks though!

And again, to each his own, if you like it, do it.

I think that duct looks silly myself, there is one guy here with the cut out that Is recessed into the hood on a black 951 with 18" rims, IMO that one is more subtle, updated, and just looks SWEET

Yeah the 968 duct look way out of place on the 951... Looks like an after thought.

I think I may leave the bonnet alone...
