Question boost gauge and klr?

I was working on my car yesterday and while it was running I heard a vaccum sound from the passager side.I found a black hose that appeared to be a vaccum hose and a clear hose coming out of the klr.I put my finger over the hose and the boost gauge in the dash went to .4 from the 1bar position.I plugged the black hose into the clear klr hose and the boost gauge went to the .4 position on the boost gauge. My question is where does this hose go ? I do not think it is suppose to just sit behind the klr sucking in air.

The clear hose is the stock KLR hose. The black hose is not stock - that is where the previous owner tied his aftermarket boost guage (or the sensor on an EBC) into. He has saved you a little work.

Do not leave any of the ends open, and connect the KLR, in the meantime.

A black hose by the DME?
I don't have one on my car, and have never seen one on a 951.
When you put the key in the second position, does it go to 1 on the factory boost gauge?
If not, that clear hose going into the KLR is not in tight enough.
Can you find out where the other end of that black hose goes?

When I put the hose back onto the klr the boost gauge drops ,so this means the hose going into the klr needs to be tighten?

Huh??
Cap the black line for now. Leave the clear line in the klr - the boost guage is SUPPOSED to drop at idle, that is normal vacuum.
