Yea, the turbo is my old one I just got back rebuilt from Lindsey. The MAF is a Huntley stg3 with ARC2 I got from a fellow rennlister and the plugs as well.

The 996 Targa car and old German beer stein are from the Mrs.

Looks like you could use a bigger turbo to elbow hose. Not a bad effort for a guy who drives reindeer, however.

Hey todd I really dont think you are going to have a problem with that turbo. I mean the #8 would be better but, nothing wrong with the 6 man. She looks good and I bet its going to make some power with that new maf. There are several listers here with the stage 2 and 3 huntley so if you run into problems atleast you can count of some good tech info here on the list.

Goodluck with everything and I will holler this next week.

Hey John!

Yea, I think I will be ok, jsut got worried there for a bit when everyone was "no way, that big compressor with the #6???"

But , iagree, the MAF should really make a big difference as I know with a higher flowing turbo a MAF really opens up the performance.

Yea, install should be ok, but I will probably have some tuning questions. And the MAF already has the IAT sensor also.

I guess I should hook up with all settings to 0 at first then go from there?

Hosrom was saying that with this same turbo and setup, except for a bad *** head, Tony G put down like 415 to the wheels. So take about 25-30 off for the head. I'd be damn happy with about 340-350 as that puts me right about 400 at the crank.

And I can always upgrade the ARC2 to the SMT6 in the near future, but the ARC2 at least gets me out of the "barn door" AFM life

I have gotten so wrked up about getting it all together and on the road due to finding 2 race shops right here in Orlando. 1 is "Titan Motorsporrts" which some might have seen them on Speed in the NOPI series. They run an 8 sec Supra. And right up the street from them is another shop with in house dyno that has some bad *** customer cars. That shop is more for the "regular" guy, not pro stuff. They had some DSM's putting 400-500 to the wheels and a Mustang GT blown putting 650+ to the wheels.

So I gotta get up there and check them out, but not till the car is up and going

350whp is more sain since Tony had a cross-drilled and lightened crank, carillio rods and other goodies.

Not to mention a $4,000 JME head which probably made a large impact on the numbers, but in general sense now Tony gave me a rough fugure of 350+whp with the usual bolt ons (MAF, injectors, testpipe, wastegate.....) The issue is that your running a #6 hotside which would not give out the same HP as the #8 in the upper rpms..........all in all you shall be happy

I agree. Although, I had always thought it was a #8 at least due to the late rpm of boost and the fact that I was running and holding 18 psi to redline. I'll have to do that search you mentioned to see how to measure the hotside to be sure it is #6.

Todd, maybe you haven't planned to do the plumbing exactly as on the picture, but if you have I would recommend to move the MAF further away from the turbo and the recirculation valve since you otherwise will get false readings and strange behaviour of the car.
