Broadfoot racing is much cheaper than that... check it out and give Kelli an email.

One of those things you just have to watch for. I picked one up off ebay for 70 bucks with the belt, but I watched for about a year to find one that cheap. Normally i see them go for 120-140 from broadfoot who sell them on ebay.

Ok, stop being a cheap *** and buy one, and while you are at it, buy a membership. I mean a member since 2001 and nearly 1000 posts!

I got mine from Larry Parker, he'll cut you one for less than the $170. I might have a spare to sell, I'd have to check.

If you get the bracket(which ever one you choose) you will also need 4 new bolts, well you will if you get a factory one(European pc) not sure of the Racing types; because the bottom long bolts are too long to use up top and the old top ones are to short to use down on the bottom. Pic with Euro pc.

ps i'm a college kid that is trying to put together a car i should have never bought...a 944, then came the turbo engine, and suspension and all the other crap. and i did this on a budget that you wouldn't believe, on a college kid budget basically so if i wanna be a cheap *** i will be a cheap *** because i got an excuse, i hope all your 7k posts were as useful as that one.

I dont. Maybe I was inspired by the Matt O thread on paying for membership in the general water cooled area. He is giving a membership away, do you think this situation meets the criterion?

I'm interested in one as well. I searched and found that Luke made them for a cheap price. About $100 including the belt. Does anybody know if he still does this? I'm waiting for a reply from him.

This poor student fitting a turbo engine to a 944, buying a Tial WG and Greddy boost controller and AC delete kit currently...

You pt a turbo engine into a 944 and you're on a budget? it would probably have been cheaper to buy a 951.

How did your conversion work out? Are you happy with the results?

I can't understand whu anyone would want to delete their AC unless they have a dedicated track car with a ton of lightened stuff on it. It makes the car almost unusable during the summer, at least if you use it for business purposes at all.

Gotta drop the resale value a lot too.
