Default problems starting?

My car will not start most of the time and the tachometer is not moving when I try to start it.PLEASE HELP

Have you replaced the DME relay yet? It is a common source of this problem.

Yup likely a reference sensor or DME relay, get a DME relay first its only $20. The reference sensor is a bit more...

I have replaced the dme relay.I will check the reference sensor today.THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.I have been visiting this form every morning for years tiring to learn about my car,but I do not get involved in discussions because I do not have any valuable input yet.Thank you again for your time

Also look at the connection ports for the reference sensors. Overtime these break loose/melt from heat and harden from age (and heat). Mine were off, mechanice covered with with clear silicon (not sure if that is a good idea) but fixed the problem.

I had the same problem a few months ago... The referense sensor had jiggled loose...

I think I found my problem.The plug connection for my reference sensor is falling apart.Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix it ?

Mine are also cracked up... both ends. It might be a hob job but this is what I did.
Cleaned the connectors with contact cleaner, then coat the contacts with
electrolytic grease. Then I pushed the connectors together tightly, made sure the
cars starts and runs fine. Then I put a bead of HiTemp black silicon around the outside
of the connectors and allowed to dry overnight.
Been this way for 2 years with no problems.
