I'm looking for an aftermarket wheel for my '87. I'm ditching the air bag wheel in favor of something with better feel. My '84 had a Momo Corse wheel that I loved, but I was wondering what else people had and liked.

Also, any opinions on suede vs. smooth would be nice. I already have an adapter, so I just need a wheel.

I had my eye on a nice Momo Top Power, but the seller backed out on me.

Momo Club 3 wheel. It is a tough one to find (no longer sold by Momo), but it is very classy!

I really like my Sparco Mugello, but the one big problem is the diameter. Anything smaller than stock will obscure the gauges. With the factory seats, the gauges in my car are pretty much a joke. I know I'm not overheating, and I know that I have good oil pressure. I don't know how fast I'm going (over 40 mph), and I have no idea what my RPM's are over 2.5k. My race seats make things a little more visible. I'm still working out a solution to drop the gauges a bit.

Mugello diameter is 330 mm. I would definitely take this into consideration when choosing.

The 930S wheel from AJ-USA is my favorite, it looks "just right" in there!

anyone know where to find th RS wheel (came in the 993 rs version, has a silver horn botton surround and tapared spokes)?. That has to be my all time favorite. Looked over at AJ USA and they did not have it.

If you like simple, you should check the Sparco Ring. Stock sized, 3 spoke all black. Nice thing is the leather is one piece all the way around much like our stock wheels. I was set to buy one until I saw my wheel at OG Racing. I have a Navy Blue/Black Sparco Lap 5, which is very similar to the Ring, but two-tone.

930S with coloured crest, well untill last month when my uncle borrowed my car and the next day i found the steering wheen with threads comming off, stains etc he claims 'i didnt do anything' which is crap and hurts me like mad since i waited 2 month to order that wheel.........it needs a FULL retrim ($230 quoted here)

I have a Momo Top Color-Fits my hands perfectly and doesn't block the gauges at all. I like the smaller diameter much more than the OEM wheel.

When I do get a new steering wheel, I'm getting the Sparco Lap 3 or 5 depending on what diameter I want. I don't like how low the side spokes are on the momo wheels. I like to put my thumbs over the side spokes when racing/driving hard and the sparco's are better suited for this.
