Default Door Bumper strips

Hey all,

I have seen Many 944 and 944 turbos with the bumper strips on the sides and doors of there cars. Mine on the other hand does not have those which is not a probley but i was wondering if it was a option when bought new or after market OR if they only came on certain cars?

Thanks,
Ian

Lol, that's a nice oxymoron there ECU, "standard option". Normally if they're missing it's a good indication of a repaint. Mine are on the '88 and '87, both original paint, but the repainted '84 never had them replaced.

They were optional and standard to my understanding.
You can opt to not have them, but they are on by default.
