Question Need help installing turbonetics MBC??

I just purchased a turbonetics MBC and just had two quick questions.....

One is that I have seen some EBC's need to be plumbed into the fuel pressure regulator. Do I need to do this somehow on the MBC or do I just go from the intercooler pipe to the wastegate, and bypass the cycling valve? If I do need to run it into the FPR how do I need to do it?

Also is it correct for MBC to work in reverse of its arrow on the ****? On the **** it shows to turn clockwise to go towards the plus and counter for the negative. But when I run air through the MBC it slows the air down when your go towards the negative. Is that correct?

Any help would be great. Sorry if this has been answered before.

MBC would need a direct connection between the wastegate and IC banjo bolt with the controller sitting inbetween them, bypassing the CV in single port mode.

Here is a pic Danno posted a while back:

Sounds like its hooked up correctly. Boost pipe to the MBC and MBC to wastegate. There's no need to hook up the fpr to it. With the stock wastegate the mbc works in reverce. - will increase the boost + will decrease it.

I have never heard to a EBC being hooked into the FPR, interesting.

NZ - the pressure line going to the FPR comes straight from the intake manifold. Most EBC instructions have the user tap into this line for the boost sensor. The sensor then tells the solenoid (which is connected like pic 3 Hosrom posted above) when to open and close for boost control.

Instead of splicing that line, I ended up running a second line into the passenger compartment for this. You can also tap off of the line going to the KLR.

Oh I see, so its just a MAP line, nothing specifically to do with the FPR... wont it react later coming off the MAP signal opposed to the banjo? I made a dual banjo bolt... hmmm
