What about the Fabspeed exhaust ? Looks like another great unit to me. Anyone using that? I love their demo videos, if you haven't checked them out go to www.fabspeed.com, and watch the 911 Clubsport videos, holy smokes.

I think the Fabspeed system is very nice also. However, The guy who owns Fabspeed has been kicked off of this list numerous times. Generally for trying to act like a customer to sell his own products. You can use the search function to check it out.
BTW - welcome!

Your comparing apples and orangatanges again.
You can't compare the basic Lindsey system against the SFR with cat on a cost to cost basis.
Take the basic Lindsey system add the cat and thermal coating and a nice looking tip and you have about $850. That works out to about $350 less than the SFR not 2-3x's less.

This entire thread is about comparing apples to oranges. There different systems each with its positives and negatives. The outcome depends on what meterics we are using. Are we comparing the two systems on quality or price to preformance?
I am thankful we at least have a choice for full 3" exhaust.

Well in my defense, as the thread starter, I just wanted to know which BRAND would be better, or preferred, in exhaust applications - including material, durability, performance, price, etc. I guess I didn't clarify the poll well. And yes, if anyone was wondering I did search, but I was just curious on owners' opinions of those who own the SFR or LR exhaust systems and how is it performing and holding up for you guys as the days, weeks, months, and/or years go by.
But I do apologize if these are two different things to compare, and sorry if I caused a dispute between each.
Thank you though to all who contributed with their useful feedback of opinions and also for taking part in the poll!

By the way, would anyone know if the SFR downpipe is worth it? Or shall I say worth to pay for and replace the stock piece? Does anyone on this board have it?
In my case, I am only going to modify my k26/6 and i'm probably not planning on doing a turbo upgrade in the near future.

Well, it wont be a suprise to you that SFR is the biggest contributor to the Project 951 in the European Car mag. They actually tested the SFR 3" downpipe... you should check it out. Let me know if you need the link.
I say you could spend your money better if you wont ever move to a bigger turbo. But it would be nice to have a real 3" system all the way through in case you do get the tuning bug bad...
