Yep, I am still working in one. If John can get a individual throttle body manifold done for $1200 then he is the man! This stuff ain’t cheap and the ‘real’ application is for track use. I am sure you could set it up and tune it for street use but that might just be a tad overkill!
The 16v version is truly a pain in the butt, the ports are oval and exit the head at an angle relative to the flange. I am on the third CNC shop, the first two thought it would be neat until they figured out how much design work was involved in making to easy to fabricate.
Hey Laust – how much money per foot lb of torque? That’s where the difference will be.

I highly doubt the $1200 is for individual TBs. Each TB would be at least $100 and the mechanism to open them would cost a bit too. I think his higher performance (not sure what specs exactly) IM would run $1200.

John, Does this thing look something like the Milledge Intake? That's what I'm seeing in my head. What's the performance like of one of those? I assume that during all these years, you have tested various other current manifolds. Any3way, data talks bull....well you know the rest. I would be interested if it works out as you hope.

For $1200-1300 I doubt I can do single TB (unless I win the lottery ). I will be testing against other manifolds out there, but it will be data that I will not publish. Whoever offers a product should be testing and reporting on their products (same as I am).
The manifold I'm doing will not look like the Milledge one, I have no data on the Milledge as it's in a different price range.

Randy, I will be testing the setup on 2 or 3 different cars. One with the new stage 3 and a second test with the new stage 2.

I'd buy one if you met that price point and it physically looked nice. I've got one in the works with the features (venturi horn, equal length runner, clears turbo, etc) but it's ugly, as it's solely for my experimentation.

Sam, LOL I have a real ugly first prototype manifold which will be used for fitment only. The final product should look very nice (sorry guys no polish, no chrome, no shiny stuff here!!). I'll keep you guys updated...

Sounds interesting John! Do you have a time frame when its maybee finished?
Anybody got, or have testet the lindsey intake?? Somebody got any information about that one?
btw; john, why have you discontinued the stage 1 turbo? New Stage 2 takes over its place with Stage 3 as the next options?
Have you some new information about the New stage 2 and 3 yet? Sorry for stressing this, I`m just corious about it because I`ll soon be ordering some kits you know

tma§951, The Stage 1 has been discountinued as not many people ordered it. The Stage 2 offered similar spoolup with more performance....
Both new Stage 2 & 3 are available now. SpecialTool on this list is the first and only one to experience the new kit. It was a turbo I designed for my race car, but he talked me into letting him have it LOL..
The new Stage 2 has been in use for a short while as well. Spool up, responsiveness are just phenomenal (no lag, starts building boost around 2500rpm, 1bar by 3000 or less and this with the cat converter in place.).. I have not dynoed it yet, as I don't have one myself. I expect better performance than the old Stage 2... I have been fairly quit about both turbos as it has been almost impossible to get some of the parts to build the turbos. I should have a few in couple of weeks...

What are the real advantages to having a throttle body on each cylinder? I agree it looks cool, but one of the themes on this thread is relying on "real data", so I figure this would be a good place to ask.
Why?
Just curious.
