Default Coilovers with out torsion bars

Dumb question: When you guys put coilovers on, are you completely getting rid of the torsion bars? What is involved in doing so? Anything special needed, or can the torsion bars just be taken out?

Do a search in the 944 general forum for Chuck Moreland's post on elephant racing bushings, he did a 3-part how-to that gives a real good idea what's involved.

On the Paragon web site there is a procedure on how to adjust them and remove TB.

You can keep them on or remove them depending what you want, with TB left on it's a pain to adjust ride hight. They claim about 10 hrs to adjust TB, and then you might not get it right the first time.
