I wish someone would save my marriage and buy that black on black '89 951 on autotrader before I have two 951s.
My daughter has a black car (Ford), lots of work keeping it presentable, but there is just something about the color that is hard to beat.

With very few 951s out here I wasnt' able to choose on color. I got Alpine White with blue int and blue leather sport seats. It is a very nice looking combo but I guess I'll always desire Guards Red.
If they didn't look good in red they wouldn't have made so many.

I agree that all the colors due suite our 951 except white like someone previously stated. Do you guys think that it would be a wise investment to repaint a Porsche a custom color. Im thinking of changing my red to something else so that is why i started this poll. So far im leaning towards black. Thanks for the input

Arena red with a tan interior. This is my old man's car, I didn't realise how much I loved the color until I saw it in person.
Did at any point the 951 or S2 come in a color like it?

The white has grown on me. At first I thought it made it look like a chick car. I do seem to remember that many cars in the late 80s had "White Out" packages available and most of those people put on the after market double bladed white wiper arms. Every once in a while I'll see an all white 87ish Accord with cracked front chin spoiler running around. Was probably pretty cool back then.
As far as a trade goes..... nahhh

Lance is selling????????? I just checked autotrader and there is an '87 black in the area. I thought Lance's car was an 89? The car in autotrader has the same wheels as Lance...I think so anyway.
Edit-Forgot to comment on color. I like the blue/tan sport seats like my dad's car, but our paint is in kinda crappy condition on the nose of the car and the interior is showing some wear.

Well i agree red is a good color but i mean it sticks out SOOOOO much so when a cop is looking for whome to pull over a black porsche or a red one its gonna be the red one.... Concidering both were breaking the speed limit at the same rate you kno only 50 clicks over
