I am talking with Majestic now.

Any suggestions on A/R, Trim, etc. ????

And yes, I have already spoke with the turbo master, John (Vitesse) but he doesn't have any used or rebuilt units now. He can't keep them on the shelf!!!

And this is my daily driver so time is of the essence.

I might be interested in helping you. I might have to do the same thing on my car sooner rather then later. I can get all the "extra" stuff off pretty fast.

Keep us informed as to what majestic says. I have been playing with the idea of a k27/6 conversion for my 86. I have been playing with more boost and just spent some cash on an ebc because of the kamikaze boost drop in the k26/6 at high rpms. Dam. i need to focus on one thing first. I have the cash set aside to start tearing out the stock suspension and upgrading that over the winter. I need to find a local BA chapter around here. BA as in BoostAholic.

I have an extra TO4B. Not sure of the exact size, it came from huntley racing. There is only 10k of use on it but I think it might have been hard use. There is a small amount of play in the impeller. If you want I can check it out. I think the guy that used it had about 350hp or so...it was with a stock #6 hotside. Danno knows the car it came off of, maybe he can chime in....

Cool, thanks guys.

I am sending it to Dave at Lindsey. Nothing against Majestic, just decided to go that route. Supposedly Lindsey has a guy that worked for CART doing the turbo work now. Kinda cool.

At least I'll finally find out what my "mystery turbo" is.

Just sucks that I will miss Rennstock.

I think that guy works in the shop for Lindsey, although I could be mistaken.

I can speak for the individual doing the rebuilds. He does excellent work, as we have one of his rebuilds on our track car.

Anyone have ideas on what I should have done to the turbo while Lindsey has it?

Best improvements for the buck?

I would guess just turn it into a K27/6 but you will need chips to go with it. Talk to Dave, maybe he has some chips. That would cost a few bones, but it would be pretty sweet. I think you would also need injectors.
